Swedish sweets from Franssons Konfektyrer
Franssons Konfektyrer makes all four of these in Sweden. Two are hard candy, so that side of the shelf is half done already.
The one we like talking about is the Wild Strawberry Mini Gumdrops. They’re soft with sugar on the outside. There’s a bit of rose in there you don’t expect. Their page says after dinner or with coffee. Coffee, for us. You get about 560 pieces.
For something odder there’s Raspberry and Licorice Hard Candy, which puts raspberry next to salty licorice. Hallonsalta is the Swedish name. The Giant Grenna Candy Cane is the big one, a large Swedish-made cane in assorted flavors, listed as Polkagrisar.
