Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum for wholesale chocolate pralines?
No minimum, no. Pralines do ship by the full case, so single units aren’t on the menu. A case usually weighs 5 to 10 kilograms depending on maker and format. If one product matters, ask and we’ll tell you the weight.
What praline brands are in stock?
From Belgium, Maitre Truffout sends sea-shell pralines and ribboned gift boxes. Monardo has Italian hazelnut and forest-berries pralines. Crispo’s Crid’or is a milk chocolate praline, and Vergani’s Gran Torino is coffee and cream. Stock moves with import availability.
Do you ship pralines outside the US?
No. Only inside the United States. You pay by secure card at checkout, and every order goes out by the case.
Where do chocolate pralines keep best?
Out of sun and heat. Cream and fondant centers like it cooler than a normal room, so skip the hot stockroom and the sunny window. A long run in a warm display case isn’t great either.
Can I open a wholesale account, and how does payment work?
Yes to both. Business buyers can apply, and approved accounts see account pricing. You pay by card at checkout, and the order’s confirmed once payment clears. Send your business details and we’ll take it from there.
Is a praline the same as a truffle?
No. A praline has a chocolate shell with its own filling inside, such as hazelnut cream. Fruit works too. So does ricotta and pear. Truffles are softer through the middle and often rounded or dusted. Lots of buyers carry both, since gift shoppers pick up either.
Quick answer
We list 26 chocolate pralines. Crispo has filled Italian ones, while Maitre Truffout has boxed Belgian ones. Retail shoppers and wholesale buyers order from the same pages. There’s no minimum order, and we ship across the US.
Chocolate pralines aren’t plain squares of chocolate. There’s a shell, and something soft going on inside. That’s what sends a hand back into the box for another. We sell European pralines by the case, so a gift shop or hotel amenity line doesn’t need a trip to Brussels or Turin.
Here’s who we carry. Maitre Truffout sends sea-shell pralines in ribboned gift boxes, a blue one and a yellow one. They sit nicely by a register. Monardo brings an Italian hazelnut praline, the Crema Nocciole Tartufo. Its forest-berries sibling is the Frutti di Bosco. Crispo makes the Crid’or. That’s milk chocolate filled with ricotta and pear. Vergani adds a coffee and milk cream praline called Gran Torino. Nearly all of it is Italian or Belgian.
Who buys pralines by the case
Three kinds of buyer keep coming back. Independent candy and gift shops want imported product that the big chains skip, and a Belgian ribboned box looks expensive on a shelf. Then there’s the corporate gifting crowd and hospitality buyers. Hotels use pralines for turndown amenities. Offices put them in client boxes, and event planners fill favor tables with them. They feel generous, which is most of the job. The last group splits a case into smaller retail units and marks each one up. A full case beats buying retail bags one by one for all of them.
How we pack and price
Pralines here sell by the full case. Single retail units aren’t offered. Expect 5 to 10 kilograms a case, depending on maker and format. Price is per case in US dollars. We ship throughout the United States. Buying for a business? Open a wholesale account and approved accounts get account pricing.
The creamy and fondant centers don’t like heat. A cool, steady room suits them. Sunny windowsills and warm stockrooms don’t, and a hot truck is worse. Stored well, they keep their shape and shine. Questions about one particular case? Ask us.
Building a mix that sells
Don’t put the whole shelf on one flavor if pralines are new to you. We’d anchor the premium end with a ribboned gift box, since gift shoppers can pick it up without thinking. Add a hazelnut praline for the nut and chocolate crowd. Something fruit-forward comes next, maybe the Frutti di Bosco or the ricotta and pear. Anyone who finds straight chocolate heavy will go for that one. See what sells and adjust. The makers we carry give you plenty to work with.
Pralines sit inside our wholesale chocolate range. If you already buy bars or seasonal chocolate from us, a case of pralines can ride on the same order. Filled-bonbon fans may like our bulk chocolate truffles too. Those have a softer center and a dusted or rounded shape.
Ordering for an event or a season
Planning for Valentine’s or December or a one-off corporate run? Give us a heads-up on timing, and a rough case count. Imported stock arrives in waves. The ribboned boxes go first once the calendar fills up. Last week is too late.

Pralines for corporate gifting and events
Corporate gift and event buyers are worth chasing. They order in volume and they come back on a schedule. A ribboned Maitre Truffout box looks like a considered present, which is what an office wants when it thanks a client. Supply that buyer and you’ll want a couple of gift box formats deep on the shelf. Keep a plain assortment around too, for the planner who splits a case into favor bags. Weddings and galas return every year. Seasonal parties do as well. Fill a last-minute order without fuss and you get the next call.
Quote in cases. Someone planning two hundred favor boxes is really buying a set number of cases, and a clean per-case dollar price is easy to approve. We can help you size the order so it doesn’t leave you with leftovers or run out mid-event. On a big run, ask us early about the ribboned boxes.
A small praline assortment by your register earns its keep all year, not only at holidays. People grab a gift on the way to dinner or a birthday. It costs little shelf space and the boxes look good in the hand.

Retail or wholesale. Accounts optional.
Two price lists, one catalog. Everyone gets our importer-direct retail price, already well below typical shelf prices, and you don’t need an account or a minimum order to buy. If you’re coming back often, it’s worth applying for a wholesale account, since approved accounts pay less per case and get order management on top. Bigger order, or a mix you can’t find in the catalog? Just ask us for a quote.
