Planning quantities for large events
The selection above leans on colorful gummies and jellies that hold up well on dessert tables and in goody bags or open bowls. If it’s for plated or favor use, work out your count per guest first and then round up to full cases so you’re not caught short on the day.
For weddings and receptions in particular there’s a page on bulk candy for weddings if you’re after a styled display, take a look at candy buffets.
How far ahead should I order candy for an event?
Order once your final headcount is set, and allow for shipping time. For very large orders, request a quote so we can reserve the stock ahead of time.
Think of a conference welcome desk or a trade-show booth or a festival stall (a corporate function, even), where nobody wants to send someone to the corner store halfway through the day because the bowl went empty that’s really why event planners and companies buy by the case, since it gets them the volume at a cost that makes sense.
The candy ends up doing a second job as well, because a branded booth uses it to pull people over and a hospitality desk sets a bowl out as a small welcome themed functions lean on color to tie the look together. A few imported pieces give people something to chat about that an ordinary bowl of domestic candy just doesn’t.
Planning an event order
We’d estimate on the generous side, since events nearly always burn through more candy than anyone expected individually wrapped pieces make handing it out easy and tidy. Order by the case so the amount fits attendance, and for large or multi-day functions send a quote request so pricing is settled before you commit.
