In Italian, mandorlato means filled with almonds. This sweet got its start in magical Venice. Traditional nougat bars were made with honey, sugar, and egg whites beaten into a meringue, with almonds added. Our nougats keep those original ingredients and combine them with other nuts and dried fruits, such as cranberries, strawberries and orange. The result is a rich, original, and unique product family.
