The word mandorlato means filled with almonds in Italian, and the snack is a sweet that originated from magical Venice. Nougat bars in their traditional form were made with honey, sugar, and egg whites beaten to meringue, with almonds added to that. Our nougats combine the original ingredients with other nuts and dried fruits, such as cranberries, strawberries and orange. That creates a rich, original and unique product family.
