Italians use mandorlato to mean filled with almonds. This sweet originated in magical Venice. In their traditional form, nougat bars were made with honey, sugar, and egg whites beaten to meringue, plus almonds. Our nougats combine those original ingredients with other nuts and dried fruits, such as cranberries, strawberries and orange. Together they make a rich, original and unique product family.
