Frequently asked questions
How many Hockey products do you carry?
Two. One’s a plain Swedish salmiak salty licorice powder (SKU SD2001). The other is a peppered version of the same powder (SKU SD2002).
What pack sizes do the Hockey powders come in?
Both are 12g units sold in 15-packs and supplied in bulk form. Each 15-pack weighs 0.4lbs.
Do they work in bulk bins?
Yes. They’re listed in bulk form, so they fit scoop bins and repack programs. Bagged assortments next to other licorice work too.
What do the two Hockey items taste like?
Both are Swedish salmiak salted licorice powders. One’s plain and one has pepper added to the same base. Check each product page for ingredient and allergen details before ordering.
Can you ship Hockey outside the US?
No. We only ship within the United States, and checkout is by secure card.
Can I get wholesale pricing on Hockey?
Yes, once you open a wholesale account and it’s approved. Account pricing starts then.
Quick answer
Retail shoppers and wholesale buyers across the US can order Hockey salty licorice from CandiesWholesaler with no minimum order. The line is two Swedish salmiak powders in 12g 15-packs. One’s plain and one has pepper. Prices are visible to everyone, and approved wholesale accounts get wholesale pricing on repeat orders.
Hockey keeps things narrow. There are two Swedish salted licorice powders, sold as salmiak candy in small packets that come bundled into 12g 15-packs. One is the plain salmiak powder. The other has black pepper on top of the salty base. Both are made in Sweden, which has some of the strongest salted licorice around. They ship from our warehouse as bulk case stock.
Salmiak has a sharp salty edge with ammonium chloride behind it. It isn’t for casual snackers. Nordic licorice fans go looking for it. Newcomers often start with the plain powder and work up to the pepper one. Since both share one salty licorice base, a case of each lets you offer some variety without leaving the flavor people ask for.
Retail shoppers buy Hockey for the reason Scandinavian licorice fans always have. Mild American licorice doesn’t have that bite. A case suits a themed party or a Nordic food gift box. Some people just stock up, because a 15-pack goes fast once folks try it. Wholesale and business buyers order the same two items by the case. Candy shops do it. So do Scandinavian grocers and event vendors. That keeps salmiak candy on the shelf without single-unit markups.
Ordering Hockey Wholesale or in Bulk
No minimum order applies to Hockey, same as everywhere on the site. Either item alone is fine, or mix the plain and pepper powders. First-time retail buyers and stores reordering monthly follow the same rule. We ship within the US. Prices are visible to any visitor. No login wall.
If Hockey turns into a regular reorder, open a wholesale account. Approved accounts get account pricing, which matters once you buy every month instead of picking up one case. This is the full current Hockey lineup. That’s two Swedish salmiak powders. One’s plain and one’s peppered. Both ship by the case within the US.
Retail or wholesale. Accounts optional.
Two price lists, one catalog. Everyone gets our importer-direct retail price, already well below typical shelf prices, and you don’t need an account or a minimum order to buy. If you’re coming back often, it’s worth applying for a wholesale account, since approved accounts pay less per case and get order management on top. Bigger order, or a mix you can’t find in the catalog? Just ask us for a quote.
