Kubli hard candy, from leaf shapes to berlingots
Six French hard candies sit under the Kubli name. Shape does a lot of the talking here.
The verbena leaf candy is green and leaf-shaped, with a lemongrass flavor. The orange and lemon hard candies look like fresh cut slices of fruit. The raspberry balls are little and red. One mix pulls together candies shaped like seashells and fish, and the notes say they’d look good in a retro candy jar.
Then there are the assorted berlingots, a French specialty. Berlingot translates to humbug in English, but the notes insist they’re genuinely tasty and made with only natural flavors and colors. Last up are the lilliputians. Those are hard candy sticks in flavors from lemon to cassis, each wrapped in shiny foil that’s twisted at both ends.
