Bulk Candy for Weddings

Favour tables and dragée quantities

Confetti dragées and sugared almonds are the classic wedding favor, so the feed above is filtered to those bulk lines. Order by the case and one purchase covers a whole favor table.

Maybe you’d rather do a styled dessert display than individual favors. In that case look at candy buffets, and if you’re matching a palette you can browse candy by color too.

How much candy do I need for a wedding favour table?

Individual favors are easy, you just decide on a set number of pieces per guest and go from there. For an open display we’d figure on 100 g per guest. Either way, round up to full cases.

A wedding uses candy in more spots than most couples expect, between the buffet and the favors and a late-night snack table (and welcome bags for the out-of-town guests too). Every one of those takes a fair amount of candy. Nobody wants to be emptying retail shelves a bag at a time, so most couples and planners just buy in bulk.

What holds a wedding table together is usually color. Shop by color and you can run the palette through several categories, so the buffet and the favors look like they came from the same hand. A few imported pieces help as well. Maybe European chocolates, or something regional from the couple’s heritage. Guests tend to remember that table.

Estimating quantities

For a sampling buffet we’d plan a quarter to half a pound of candy per guest, more if it’s also the favor. Favors go easier once each one has a fixed count of wrapped pieces. Order by the case to match the guest list. Big wedding? Send a quote request so pricing is sorted well ahead.

Frequently asked questions

How much candy do I need for a wedding candy buffet?

Sampling only? A quarter to half a pound per guest does it. Go higher if the buffet doubles as the favor, and buy by the case so the count lines up with your guest list.

Can I order wedding candy by color?

Yes. Browse by color to match your palette across categories, then order the cases in bulk at wholesale pricing.
