Irish sweets, mostly toffee, all from Oatfield
Ireland has seven items listed here and every one is from Oatfield. The product notes describe Oatfield as one of the oldest independent sweet makers still around in Ireland. That sets up a shelf of toffee and eclairs.
Start with the Irish milk chocolate eclairs, creamy toffee wrapped around a milk chocolate center. The Eskimo mints are pitched as after-dinner mints for weddings and other special events. The black licorice toffee is the one to know about. It’s harder than the Callard & Bowser version and firms up more in cold weather, so the notes suggest letting it sit in a warm room for a few hours.
The rest runs from butter hard toffee to chewy milk chocolate covered toffee. The Colleen assorted bag and the assorted hard eclairs sit in between. Everything ships only within the US.
