A truffle is a small thing that feels like a treat. The middle’s soft and the bite is short. It’s gone before you notice. A solid bar doesn’t do that. It’s why truffles work as gifts and hotel pillow chocolates, and why they sit well near a register. We sell them by the case.
Lindt LINDOR comes first. These are Swiss milk-chocolate truffles, and the wrapper alone gets picked up. Next to them we have truffles with a bit more personality. Maitre Truffout makes French-style truffles. Their Eiffel Tower and Fancy Gold boxes look like gifts straight off the shelf. Monardo is Italian and has the widest set of centers. One is milk cream with cereal. Another is dark-chocolate fondant cream. A third is filled with coconut. We also have a Swiss-made caramel truffle, for anyone who wants to step past plain chocolate.
Why truffles are easy stock
One case does a few jobs. Pull a piece for an impulse sale. Box a few for a gift. Or leave one on a hotel pillow. Names people know sell themselves. The odd centers give you something to point at when a regular asks what’s new. And truffles look good, which counts for a lot with gifts.
Cases and shipping
We sell truffles by the full case, never single units. Cases run 5 to 10 kilograms depending on maker and format, and they’re priced in US dollars. Shipping stays within the United States. Approved wholesale accounts get account pricing. For larger volumes, request a quote.
A word on storage, since it trips people up. The centers are soft and often cream-based, so heat is the enemy. A cool, steady room is best. Direct sun is bad. So is a warm stockroom, and so is a hot display on a summer afternoon. Treat them as the perishable-ish product they are and the finish and texture hold until they sell.
Putting a truffle selection together
Here’s the setup we’d pick. One name everyone knows, then a couple of odd ones. Start with the Lindt LINDOR milk truffles. For anyone shopping for someone else, add the Maitre Truffout French boxes. Then bring in one or two Monardo centers, maybe the dark fondant cream or the coconut. Regulars get something new to try and the shelf stays uncrowded.
Truffles belong to our broader wholesale chocolate category, so they drop into an order beside bars and seasonal lines. Buyers who stock them often look at bulk chocolate pralines too. Those filled bonbons sell to the same gift crowd and finish off a premium chocolate display.
Planning around peak seasons
Valentine’s and December are the big ones for truffles. Gift boxes get tight as both approach. A holiday push or a corporate-gift run coming up? Tell us roughly how much and when. We’ll try to set stock aside. Imported product arrives in waves, so a little notice helps.

Loose pieces or boxed truffles
Truffles sell two ways and a good shelf has both. The loose sale is impulse. A Lindt LINDOR by the register ends up in a basket that wasn’t planned. The boxed sale is on purpose. Somebody’s buying a gift, and a Maitre Truffout Eiffel Tower or Fancy Gold box looks the part. Loose ones go where people queue. Boxes go where they browse.
At the register people grab a name they trust, in about half a second. That’s LINDOR’s territory. Gift shoppers behave differently. They choose with their eyes and want something that looks special. The Monardo centers and the French-style boxes fit there.
Hospitality is a third channel. Hotels and event venues put a truffle on the pillow or a small box in a welcome basket. It costs little per piece and guests notice it. Standing orders suit this well, and we can help you size one. A case or two of truffles takes up little floor space whichever way you sell them.
