Wholesale Halloween Licorice: Bulk Black Licorice for Halloween Displays & Gifting
Black licorice is mostly a color pick for us in October. It’s the black half of the orange-and-black look, and it tends to move quickly out of bulk bins once the month gets busy. We sell it by the case to retailers and distributors across the US, and to foodservice buyers as well.
Why licorice merchandises so well for Halloween
A rope of black licorice already looks like Halloween, so you don’t need a sign over the bin. We’d put it beside the orange stuff. Purple and lime green sit nicely next to it on an end-cap too, and because licorice keeps its shape and chew in bulk we’d happily use it to pad out a pick-and-mix wall or fill trick-or-treat multipacks (a party tray that sits out all evening is fine with it as well).
Formats that sell in October
We carry licorice in a handful of formats, and these are the ones we’d build a Halloween assortment around:
- Ropes, laces and twists give you the long black pieces that fill a bin or a bag in no time.
- Wheels and coins are the fun shapes here, and they look good in photos of a seasonal display.
- Salt licorice (salmiak) is the Northern-European specialty, something we’d only push in shops where customers like to be dared a little.
- Filled and layered licorice breaks up an all-black display with a bit of color.
Everything we carry is on the wholesale licorice page. If you’re mapping out the rest of the year, seasonal gummies and fruit hard candy sit well alongside it on the calendar.
Ordering and shipping
You don’t need to hit a minimum here, so one case of ropes is a perfectly good way to test October. Approved wholesale accounts get their account pricing at checkout, and bigger volumes we’d rather quote for you (shipping is within the United States only). Set up a wholesale account if you buy often, or just ask us for a quote.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this licorice made specifically for Halloween?
No, it’s our regular licorice. We pulled these products for the page because the black color and the shapes sit so well with orange and black in October, but none of it is made for the holiday or carries any holiday claim.
What is the minimum order?
There isn’t one on any line, so starting with a single case is fine. Bigger volumes get priced on a quote.
Do you ship in time for the Halloween season?
It depends on how big the order is, which is why timing gets sorted out on your quote. For an October reset we’d honestly get the seasonal licorice ordered early. We ship within the US only.
Can I mix licorice with other candy in one order?
Yes. Licorice can go on the same order as gummies or anything else we have in stock, from any category.
